Getting started

What is Brokist?

Brokist is a broker-to-broker portal where property professionals can post listings, publish buyer and tenant Needs, find matching opportunities and connect with other brokers.

Who can register?

Brokist is intended for property brokers and real-estate professionals. Provide accurate identity, contact and professional information during registration.

Can I log in with OTP or password?

Yes. Use your registered mobile number for OTP login, or use your registered email and password where available.

Properties and Needs

How do I post a property?

Sign in, tap Post, choose Property and complete the listing form. An administrator may review it before it becomes publicly visible.

What does Broker Price mean?

Broker Price means the listing broker is allowed to add their brokerage or margin above the property’s listed price while presenting it to a buyer. If the property is sold at the higher agreed price, the seller pays the agreed difference to the broker. The final property price, broker margin, payment responsibility and terms should be clearly agreed with the seller before presenting or closing the deal.

What does Litigation mean?

Litigation means the property has a known legal dispute, documentation problem, title concern or another legal issue that needs attention. The issue and relevant documents should be examined and corrected or legally resolved before the property is sold. Brokers and buyers should complete independent legal verification before proceeding.

What is a Need?

A Need describes property demand—for example, a client looking for a 3 BHK apartment in Rajajinagar within a particular budget. Other brokers can respond with matching properties.

How do I respond to a Need?

Open an active Need and choose “I Have a Match.” You can attach one of your approved Brokist properties and add a short message.

Why is my post pending?

New or edited content may wait for administrative review. Approval helps maintain useful and trustworthy marketplace information.

Plans and contacts

What are contact credits?

Contact credits allow eligible users to unlock broker contact details on property listings. Your plan page and dashboard show available and consumed credits.

Does responding to a Need consume a contact credit?

No. In the current version, sending a matching property through a Need does not consume a contact credit.

What happens when my plan expires?

Plan benefits and unused credits may become unavailable after expiry. Check Pricing or My Plan for current validity and renewal options.

What should I do after a failed payment?

Do not repeatedly pay immediately. Check your bank/payment status and Brokist dashboard. Keep the order reference so the payment can be reconciled with the payment provider.

Safety and account

Does Brokist verify every property?

Administrative approval is a content-quality step, not legal due diligence or a guarantee. Brokers must independently verify ownership, title, approvals, pricing, measurements and litigation status.

How can I protect my account?

Never share your password or OTP. Use a strong password, keep your registered phone secure and report suspicious activity through the official Brokist support channel.

Can I edit my profile or listings?

You can manage available profile fields and listings through your account. Some changes may require another review.
